Tradescantia ‘Red’ has deep purple-red lance-shaped leaves that are striped with silver. These fleshy leaves are variegated with dark green. Widely used as an ornamental plant in gardens and borders, but is ideal as a hanging basket plant. Plant in full sun or partial shade. Plants can last from months to years. Important to pinch back leggy stems to encourage bushier growth.
