Monastery Gardens is a 1957 Hybrid.  It has a  Extra-Large flower which is a mixed pink, rose and lilac with a light yellow midstripe.   It is full petalled.   It has a wide open cup form.    It opens predominantly pink and as days go on more coral and orange show .
