"Oxypetalum" Night Blooming Cereus Epiphyllum Oxypetalum
The beautiful Night Blooming Cereus aka "Lady of the
Night" is a rare Hybrid Epiphyllum Oxypetalum. It produces a dinner plate size
flower that is pure white. The size of this beautiful flower and the its pure
white color along with it's fragrance, will "knock your socks off"!! The flower
will open as soon as the sun sets and stay open all night long. Come the morning
the flower closes up. The plant blooms in waves during August, September and
into October. The fragrance is wonderfully intoxicating. These Epi's like to
be cool in the winter and can remain quite dry during this period. The plant
will start to flower in late August -September and produce multitudes of large
showy flowers. It is not unusual to have 30-40 blooms in a mature healthy plant.
